Leith Wholefoods Co-op
We are open every Saturday from 11am - 6pm selling cheap organic wholefoods and ecological products: dried fruit, nuts, tinned pulses, dried pulses, broth mix, grains, flours, oil, vinegar, honey, jam, rice, pasta, snacks, bio-d laundry liquid and washing up liquid, soaps, shampoo, coffee from the Chiapas region.
We have most of the basics, including:
- organic white basmati rice 1kg
- long grain italian rice per 1kg
- organic apricots per 1kg
- organic tamari
- organic bouillion 150g
- Kingfisher toothpaste
- Bio-D washing-up liquid, 1 litre
- Rowse organic Honey 340g
- urtekram chamomile shampoo 250ml
- organic dried chick peas 1kg
- La Bio organic white fusilli pasta 500g bag
- St. Clements chewy fig bars
The food co-op is run by volunteers. We want to make organic groceries more affordable and readily available, so we bulk buy them and sell them at a wee mark up to support our premises. Anyone can shop at the co-op, but if you become a member by giving some time to the running of the co-op then you can buy your groceries at cost price (about 10% cheaper)
